Rare Vintage Ladies Waltah Clarke Hawaiian Top. Late 1960's or early 1970's Tea Timer. I got this in a consignment shop sometime in the late 90's I think. I wore it a few times, usually with a tank underneath, mostly to Hawaiian Shirt days at the office. Most recently I took it on a trip to Hawaii and wore it to dinner. Largely it has been stored away in a dark closet or a tote for years keeping it from fading and wear. This top has a fabulous mandarin collar with a fine piping along the edge. It has awesome big 6"x7" patch pockets!! The fasteners are very cool frog closures. I almost always hand wash to preserve this top. It has beautiful and bright colors, several shades of green. white, and a little black. The pattern is fish, flowers and other shapes. There are darts in the front. You could add darts at the waist but I liked the way it hangs. This shirt is in really great condition. I did find a small (1/2 inchish) tear under the left armpit (in photos) while taking the measurements for this post. I never noticed it before. The shirt has no size tag or material tag. I've included measurements in the photos; if I had to guess I'd say medium to large. If I were to guess material I'd say largely cotton but I don't know for sure. It's very soft and supple. It doesn't wrinkle easy and is very comfortable. I am pricing this base on the rarity, vibrant color, maker and size. Its a knock-out, and you will be one too! Wear this to a pool party, an wedding at the beach, a tiki bar, or just a cook-out. Take good care of it, and it will last many more years. I'll ship for free to the lower 48. Anywhere else, or if you need it fast, we'd have to talk. If there are questions please ask.
