Haviland Limoges Tea Pot Drop Rose Schleiger 55 Coffee Pot This consideration is for a beautiful Haviland Limoges Drop Rose Teapot / Coffee Pot, embellished with large pink roses, and heavy gold accents. This graceful teapot is on a Ranson Blank. A pure white glossy ground, with large pink, shading to dark pink Roses surrounding the gold clad scalloped rim. The ornate handle is heavily painted in gold. The scalloped base is burnished in gold. A stunning, quality piece of Haviland history. Condition: In just about excellent condition. Gold intact with the exception of a few tiny spots of gold wear on the spout and a few, very minor gold rubs. A few tiny spots of tarnish. On the tiny lip of the inside of the lid (the part that you would slide in under the rim) there is a manufacturer nip that is smooth and covered with glaze. Please see photos of such. Flashes of white on the gold and porcelain were unavoidable and a condition of lighting. Back Stamp: Under the glaze, factory mark in green; Haviland France, over the glaze , decorator mark in red; Haviland & Co Limoges. Approximate Measurements: 9-1/2 inches high w/ lid in place 8 inches high w/out lid 8 inches, spout to handle 28 ounces capacity And weighs approximately 1 pound 13 ounces without packing materials.
